COLOR INK FOR CODONICS SLS 550i & SLS 600i

This kit contains four color ink printer cartridges for Codonics Safe Label System (SLS) 550i and 600i models¹.  The ink is used to print syringe labels for use in the operating room.  The syringe label information prints automatically from a barcode scan of the drug vial and some other preparation information.  Syringe labels can be rechecked at the time of injection, by reading a 2D barcode scan.  The scan will give visual and audio feedback on the syringe contents from the Safe Label System.

For ease of operation, each Codonics ink cartridge contains all of the CMYK colors needed for printing the drug information and color coding.  They will typically print about 1000 labels, but if a balance of colors are used they will last longer and if one color is used they will last shorter, since the cartridge will become empty once any one of the CMYK colors is consumed.

This kit contains four rolls of blank white labels for the Codonics Safe Label System (SLS), model SLS 500i.  Using the SLS, the syringe label information prints automatically from a barcode scan of the drug vial and preparation information.  Each roll of labels contains 1000 labels.  They are used in the Codonics SLS 500i for printing labels for syringes for use in the operating room, but can also be used for IV lines and many other purposes. These labels are size 60mm x 22mm (approximately 2.4 inches x 0.9 inches).
