Ensuring Patient Safety and Compliance with Safe Label System
Streamlining Workflows and Reducing Errors to Meet Industry Standards and Protect Patients

Overview
Codonics Safe Label System® (SLS) and SLS-WAVE provide a comprehensive solution for healthcare organizations looking to enhance patient safety, streamline workflows, and optimize operational efficiency in perioperative and procedural settings. By utilizing advanced technologies such as barcode scanning and RFID*, these solutions ensure the highest standards of medication accuracy, reduce human error, and ensure compliance with critical industry regulations, including TJC, ISMP, and ASA guidelines.
With SLS and SLS-WAVE, electronic safety checks are seamlessly integrated into the anesthesia workflow, helping to prevent the most common medication errors. SLS integrates with anesthesia carts to improve inventory management and with AIMS/EHR systems to ensure 100% charge capture, 340B compliance, and accurate documentation at the point of administration. Additionally, SLS-prepared syringes include a barcode that enables integration with interoperable infusion pumps, further enhancing workflow and reducing human error. This integrated approach not only protects patients but also drives significant ROI, enabling healthcare teams to deliver safer, more efficient care with confidence, and improving both patient outcomes and operational performance.
*SLS 600i is pre-wired for RFID, making it upgradeable in the future to read/write RFID.
